I think you're giving them WAY too much credit. While often times the game feels like a black box, for the most part the mechanics are usually pretty simple.

All the things you mentioned are pretty code heavy. While anything is possible I don't think they'd go too crazy spending tons of time coding variables like those into something thats basically a cosmetic feature.

Yeah I know. I was just throwing around some ideas because they have to use SOMETHING to do it for, and, as far as I can tell, no one has figured (or bothered to) it out yet.

to be a star of the match one should play 60 min, unless nobody players more than 30, it is harder for a player that plays less to earn the star.

Not that i agree with it, but that is how it is.

Like I said... HUGE weight is given to players who play both ends. That's why you'll probably notice teams with no managers with lots of all stars. They play the same six guys for 60 mins every game.

Honestly that's the single biggest factor that I've seen.

For what else its worth, steals for and blocked shots for also seem to be pretty heavily weighted in the calc.

Goals, not so much. I had a guy last season or the season before who came within a goal of out scoring the other guys entire team. He didn't get any of the star nods. Not even 3rd star.

I agree with you all! Lanky especially... ... and generally, the stars of the game at least sort of are stars....but, in this particular player, ...wow, Mrbrightside098's earlier comment must be right....he must have had some critical block... just like major league baseball....some decisions you just have to accept...

The game crashed in the middle of the draft (502 Bad Gateway), and picks 21-24 didn't get to draft anyone in at least league II.1 in handball.

In todays draft, I just got skipped (looks like picks 21 to 24 were skipped)! I was up next and would sure like to have had the pick? Any chance that we will get a player?

Our draft froze today, and 4 teams appear to have missed out on their 2nd round picks.
