I should have mentioned that the problems are occurring for my handball team.

I reported it for you. Others are having the same issue. I'm sure vlady & co. will get it taken care of asap.

yeah... I actually take screenshots as soon as a decent sponsorship deal pops onto the screen (before I even click to accept it). That way, if I lose it to a bug, I have proof to email to the support team to make it right.

It's honestly a good habit to get into when it comes to the sponsorship deals (since they only happen every 4 months or so).

Fixed? I was given a 1 Star deal instead of the 5 star deal. LOL, that is a costly glitch.

My sports academy for handball did not give me any players. I instead got this message, "There are no new players on trial this week." I went to the guide to see if it was possible to get 0 players from your academy, but it looks like 1 is the minimum no matter your level. Am I missing something? I am new to the game and am wondering what happened.

1 is not the minimum.
Facilities level 1 and 2 you may get 0 or 1 players. Your level is 2.

I'd like to report a bug. At least I hope it's a bug, because if this is working as designed, the design needs to be fixed.

Today, my pivot took 1 shot (out of 49 total team shots) despite my team tactics being set to "pivot shooting" for both halves. My three backs took a combined 36 shots, excluding 7m shots. Even my wings combined for more shots than my pivot (averaging 4 shots each).

Now the guide says, "You can also set shooting preference according to the defensive play of your opponent. Every defensive tactic has its strengths and weaknesses that can be exploited by selecting the appropriate shooting preference." What does that matter if your team completely and utterly ignores the tactics you select?

It also says, "You can adjust the ratio of shots between backs, wings and pivot based on where you have your best shooters. If you have great wings, you can set the shooting preference to wings and your backs will try to pass them the ball into scoring opportunities."

This is either a lie, or the system is bugged. When I set my "ratio of shots" to emphasize the pivot, and everyone EXCEPT the pivot is shooting, there's a problem.

I'd appreciate some sort of feedback here as to what exactly is going on here.

Backs will always take the most shots. But again, I do find it odd your pivot had a single lonely shot.

Yeah... I know backs usually shoot the most... but its just very odd (to the point where I think it might be a bug/error) because I've even played games with "back" shooting where there pivot had like 3-5 shots. So I really dont understand how a pivot can get only 1 shot when I'm "emphasizing" pivot shooting.

I'd still really like to know what's up. Because I've been under the (apparently false) perception that shooting style might actually matter.

I (think) found a bug. On the league results page looking at the last normal match day of the season (not relegation matches) I try to hit the "previous match day" button. After I click it, the page sends me to match day 1 of the relegation series with this message: This league was not played in the selected season!

Handball Stars??? Serious issues with selection. handball.powerplaymanager... (Engelhardt went 3/17 shots, 2 assists, 1 turnover and he's a star???? Many more deserving players in that game.)

not a bug. there's a ton of weight for players that play the whole game. Yours, don't. Not even close.

he could have scored a goal made it an outstanding lead or a goal to turn the tide of the game and stop your opponent streak or a goal that brought you to tie or take the lead. He could have stopped a shot on goal when you guys were tied or got a 7m shot. IDK how the game decides but I'm guessing they look at some sort of in depth statistic.

I agree...but, a sucky performance, shouldn't be rewarded. Both teams had several players with better stats than his... oh, well.
