My arena should be maxed by day 50 or so of next season. Did I win the race to first 20k seat arena in the US?! If not, I should be pretty darn close.
Then I'll have to get to work on all those arena upgrades - then finally back to facilities. And in the distant future, maybe I'll actually buy a decent player...
Yeah... Outside of VIP boxes or Luxury Lounges or whatever the hell they're called in Handball... and the Press Boxes, I probably won't touch the arena upgrades for a little while. I view them mostly as a money sink (and they are quite the substantial money sink at that).
After I finish off my arena next season, I'll likely start going full bore into the SA and HR Facilities, while alternating construction on the TF and Regen Facilities.
I'll only return to the other arena upgrades if I'm really struggling with ticket sales, or once I'm substantially happy with my facilities.
yep... and that's not even accounting for whatever ticket sales you get.
For what it's worth though, I think the best way to do it is a healthy marriage of both arena upgrades and facility upgrades. Because upgrading the arena is great, but if you're not doing well in the standings, your attendance and media sponsor deals will suffer somewhat.
I used less energy against CP today than before... I played in his arena... and my team is substantially worse (with 85% of my starters in training camp), and I got almost the exact same result as the last time we played (goal differential was 1 different).
There's way more randomness in the game sims than I realized.
yeah... I should probably use the daily challenges. I just can't be bothered. Feels like a waste of time.
Now if they had a button where I could click one time and it would run 10 simulations against a single team... that i'd be interested in. I don't have the patience to be clicking around for 10 minutes on something that doesn't even matter.
It might result from different substitutions being made depending on the score. I just did 5 simulations. Only the value for goaltending changes, and it was related to how much of the game my starter played.
You should've said something before. I wanted to bring down the average age of my pivots this season, so I ended up buying a couple on the market a couple of weeks ago. I probably would've preferred yours, but I'm reasonably happy now with what I've got.
It's tough to say... the market is very fickle this time of the season. It all depends on needs.
Generally, I think that players are worth relatively more once they hit some multiple of 100, if they maintain 6/6 CL, and are younger for their OR. He would probably be worth the most once he hits 500 OR as a 15 year old. His qualities are pretty good, but not elite.
Since the levels of staff and facilities are now growing much slower, I don't think you have to worry too much about younger players being pulled and trained in the future so that he loses value very quickly, but there is still the risk of a CL drop.
Doing a quick search for similar players, I'd suggest $10,000,000 to $15,000,000 as a fair starting price. You could get more, though there is a risk of getting nothing while having to pay a fee.
