Agh.. I guess I have to pray the 15th ranked in I.1 at the end of the season either wants to demote (like Phenomenon did) or somehow manages to beat many other better teams... It's going to be very tough to promote through the promotion round from this II.4 league!

this sounds as though someone's been spoiled by awesome results. FTR, upsets happen *all the time* in DII. Sometimes, they happen more often. Wait until the end of the season to vent your frustration (if you still have it...).

We get plenty of upsets in I.1 too. How else would I keep finishing in 4th despite having the 8th strongest team? It sure isn't my stunning tactical adjustments (since I play the same way every game).

In I.1 there's pockets of players that all end up in the same region (i.e. Coronas and Boilermakers are top 2.. and so on), there are no huge upsets though. Have you ever had a game where a Rat 21 GK keeps out my 10 shots on target? That's what I mean by an upset, when a clearly inferior side ties or even beats a far stronger side

The Coronas also lost 0-4 to a pretty bad Dinamo1983 team. But that was a fluke/experiment (4 forwards) by divoch that failed miserably.

Sounds like a guy that doesn't like the possibility he may be sticking around DII a little longer than he would like lol.

This league is full of upsets, in the end it evens out very nicely. I don't think last year any team was more than a place or 2 higher/lower than they should have been.

Wow, you had a really unlucky game too vs Fistaco! There wasn't even much of a difference in game importance (3/4 vs 5/5)

In the 1st Boilermakers game, he also got unlucky, but he DID score, at least.. Sandy Bragg.. 1 goal out of 6 on target and another 4 wide.... Those are just terrible stats for a striker like him

2nd BM game.. Unlucky, but not so much.. Again, at least he scored!.. and again terrible stats from Bragg.. Looks like maybe someone's in a slump?

Coronas, only took 5 shots.. It's unlucky but not so much


Imo, in games where you take <5 shots, even if the opposing GK is not so great, it's unlucky but not so much if you don't score, same with if you only score once out of 8 shots, like in the Boilermakers games... But if you take 10 shots and dont score once, like in my game and in your, then that is beyond unlucky... That's ridiculous!

In my games I couldn't score in 4 SOT on a 19-rated GK.. Unlucky, but not so much. Then, I had a RD in the 8th min, and then 2 PKs against me... How does that happen? I wasn't even playing in "aggressive"

The thing is that this kind of stuff DOES happen, Ik id does, I've upset some stronger teams before getting really lucky, and I've gotten up upset

Also, I;m scared of my Argentine hooligans (I may compete in the US league, but my team is mased in the "Little Buenos Aires" neighborhood xD).. And they DO NOT enjoy being in the second division!

I even left off a couple of my games where I've had more than 15 total shots. But I won them both 1-0. I'm happy with the win, but that's a lot of awful results. Luckily my defense/goalies have been very good or I might be as upset as you are
