I agree with black- Little to late. However He could sell well after a season of training...
The gap can never be closed. He will always be behind thats the ponit I was trying to make becuase of his age. All players that are his age will remain above him for the most part. Yes qualities play some role but most players people keep for purposes of starters or future starters will have simialar qualities which is why the gap would not be closed.
Just my 2 cents for you to consider if you either have more players that you may want to sell that are youngers. I would pay more for them than this guy.

Does anyone know (or remember) what day bonuses are paid for standings / stats?
I think it happens on Monday, although it's possible that it happens very very late on Sunday (i.e. I wouldn't count on having that money before the nightly update Sunday night).

just a quick question for USAI.1 people in general:
do you use a *"weakened" squad for your friendly/**non-critical matches?
* players with low OR and/or low XP
** any match against "***weaker" opposition
*** teams with low ratings and/or low OR

I have a "B Squad" I use for friendlies or other matches where the team stregth enough to win matches.
I have a B squad that is mainly players that need XP and chem. Just check a few teams friendly days
Yeah I have a B squad that plays the majority of friendly games, again just for the slight XP. No players on the B Squad are on the A team. For league matches, nat cup games, or even tournaments I'll typically run a mix of A & B players, depending on what I need for that game.
Dang, I decided to sell some backups who will never catch the starters on Wednesday and then realized I had to pick up 6 scrubs just so I can field a team the next two weeks while training camps are in session. I don't foresee a very good League Cup run...
