I lack a quality 3rd CM. Got wing mids like crazy but only 2 worth while CM, so its hard to try 5 mids with 3 in the center.
I use to run the 4-5-1 with 2 attacking wing midfielders but then I got Earl Smith and just had a hard time wanting to keep him on the bench.

Yeah, there's not enough players on a soccer pitch. I think a 3-5-2 is my favorite formation (so many options!), but I have 4 newish d-men who need to gain experience. And if I run a 3-5-2, I feel like I need to put the two experienced d-men back in the line-up. So I bounce back and forth between that and a 4-4-2. Which I don't really like, so I keep experimenting with odd formations. Sometimes this results in an ugly loss
Whoa. I fell behind 0-2 after 33 minutes and actually made a comeback. In soccer!?! How often does a team overcome a 2 goal deficit?
And I'm in first place?!?! Crazy days.

I think its crazier that I'm the highest scoring team with 5 defenders. Dunkman is the league leading goal scorer

Can someone explain so logic to me this season. I can lose at home and be 10 otr stronger my low vs their normal but I lose away being 5 otr less playing on high vs his low. This is just laughable! The engine hated leggman last season & I guess its my turn this season.
I'd recommend selling players as "motivation." It worked for my team today at least. My problem may also be from the energy drain of the NC and ChL, the OTR gain there is probably worth it though.
trust me that idea has been floating in my head. Part the reason I choose to run a camp, just in case my emotions get the best of me and I sell. I wonder what the going rate for Quintin would be....hummm
I will give you $5 for him. lol I might throw in a bag of balls too. The way my team has been the last couple of seasons he would increase my otr by 5 but my team would somehow lose twice as many games. I actually think the trick is to make sure your team is always atleast 5 points less in otr, play at your opponents arena, and play the same or lower importance and you are guaranteed to win. lol Keep up the hope buddy, you will start winning eventually. It can't rain all the time. Or so I hope.
It almost got me too. The season after I won the title, I couldn't do anything right. Especially offensively. I was putting 5 guys on the attacking side and getting nothing. My goals scored were cut in half from the previous season. I thought I was going to relegate, but right at the end, my team went on a bit of a run to get me up to 11th.

Incredible season this time here in your league. That relegation fight is incredible. The fight for the title is quite good too.
