My team managed to tank the third place game that they should have won, but it wasn't worth much other than some OTR (although I think that would've bumped me ahead of Corona for second in the country).

Oh snap! I put George Burk up for sale and the Bloody Hipsters snatched him up! Nice pickup, Max...he's been great for my team, and was a big part of my NC run in season 3 that I think helped get my team the money and OTR that put me where I am now. It was time for an upgrade, though.

Canada has made note. Didn't help that NKDJ knocked out me who knocked out Brutal Deluxe... there went half our entries just by a dumb draw alone.

We've lost a boatload of good teams to inactivity. Canada I.1 and the NTs will be hurting for a few seasons I reckon.
Sounds like excuses to me. I knocked FC Corona and Arlington out of the ChL, Bombsville knocked the High Headerz out of the CWC, and the Wildcats knocked Team USA out of the CWC.
I only glanced through, but I only saw 3 USA vs. Canada playoff series between the CWC and ChL this season:
Bombsville over the Muffin Fighters (now dead team)
Bleeding Wildcats over Reflex de Montreal
Boilermakers over NKDJ
I think not being able to beat an American team had a lot more to do with Canada losing than Canadian teams playing each other.

Don't be surprised, I always keep a close eye on the good american players on the market. Both players were not too expensive and will be very useful in my team.
