Last season my old guys looked like weren't going to take my team anywhere so I decided to sell a few, keep only key players and insert fresh blood in the lineup. They were crap so I played on VL/L until lately that they've actually gotten better. I've lost games played on High and wasn't really expecting to beat you. I just though what the heck and somehow won.

And the Boilermakers kick the crap out of the 3rd place Betamax. 19 shots to 1, but the final is only 1-0. It looks like both teams used their starters. That shot differential is scary.

Being alive in the CWC makes that a great possibility. It's a tough balancing act. I'd like to use the backups for the last three games, but screw you! I hate finishing fifth
I'm sure I'm losing to the Boilermakers. He has everything to play for and he wants some revenge for the first match. And the Psychos have a good team, as well. I barely squeaked by them in the first game and I went H vs VL! I'm hoping things go as expected vs the Rain.

I'd much prefer to be in the CWC than the ChL. It is much easier to go the distance and the OTR/win is equal.
I agree 100%. I enjoy mediocrity and playing in the cwc-
It unfortunately is better for your team's finances. OTR/win should be higher in the ChL. Even 0.2/game more would make it worthwhile given you still beat up on everyone in the round robin and first round.
That's not even a given, since my last two ChL groups had multiple teams playing every match on VH, whereas I don't recall more than one team in any of my CWC groups doing the same.

One must keep in mind the cost of things in PPM. For example, staff can make $200k per day. Assuming they've priced things using the Czech Republic Koruna that's around $9831.40 USD. Thus, 1.5M in PPM is only around $75,000 in damage.

Ugh...that was a rough loss, even for playing on the road. Yes, there is always a chance, especially when I'm using my B team to rest the starters for the ChL. Although maybe with that loss I shouldn't even bother.
Just take care of business the rest of the way- If you win out I should be in the CWC again. I am wondering how the FINAL RANKING is configured for tie breakers- heading over to the guide.
