Good luck to everyone. My goal for this season is to pay at least a little bit more attention to my team than I did last season. Which really should not be very difficult.
Granted that a lot can happen over a season, AND, that I expect a bit of a drop off in performance from my team now that they have some top flight competition, but I just noticed, and its worth mentioning, that we have four teams in the United States top 10 overall ratings, four teams in the USA's top 10 team ratings and two teams (not on those lists) among the USA's top 10 richest.

Well Palerider, if I were you I would definitely start building up facilities. It's probably the most important part of the game!

Mike that is exactly what I have been doing but getting better players would be really helpful. I have maybe 6 players on my team that MIGHT start for most of the better teams.
All of your facilities are at level 1, and the way you get players is from your sports academy. Good players on the market are very expensive. Good facilities should really help in the long term.
I'm trying to get the money, you need money to upgrade. With a bad team I don't get a lot at home games.
You don't count on money from games, they are worthless at this point. You have to use your weekly money and use loans in a timely manner.

Good point but I didn't get good contract offers due to my poor placement and relying on loans isn't a great idea in my mind.
Bottom line is...facilities will be much more important to your club in the future. You will go nowhere with them at level 1.
