yeah - no idea what the attribute mix should be for this game. just finished scouting a guy who was supposed to be my superstar going forward and found he isn't a 94 after all...he's a 68.

Yeah I am adding everything and everyone until my scouting comes around. From what I see some guys have rediculously stacked AQ squads and some people (like me) have just bad luck.

I am hoping that it IS more balanced than I see it and that I have some good players after all.

From reading the guide, it sounds almost like everyone needs speed, forwards and d and goalies need headers, everyone but goalies need shooting, and then the position players also need the adjacent position rating (Ie, defenders need mid, as do forwards, and mid needs all 3?)

But the guide doesn't spell it out as clearly as it did for Hockey, which is probably a good thing.

yeah, another 0-0 tie for me. Its a shame they don't show goalie stats because i would love to see how my goalie stacks up. I really need to find a way to score. Its weird because 2 out of my top 3 players are my strikers but they apparently are just for show.

the last 2 goals scored against me (the ONLY two scored against me in the past 6 games) were both penalty kicks - so my opponents haven't figured out how to score too much either. When you give up 2 goals against in 6 games and end up with 1 win, 1 loss and 4 ties that's kind of crappy.

Actually that won't help much either, I believe soccer counts Shots as anything that's remotely near the net, not just shots on goal, and Saves are the ones the goalie averted going in.

So if you look at some stats (say from the WC) you may see shots 7, but only 3 saves and 0 goals scored

lol.... sounds like crappy soccer. Thats what is frustrating about soccer. Think about your fans. I bet your home attendance falls. lol

Wow, another 0-0 tie. That is 4 league games in a row that have ended that way and 6 this month. There has got to be a glitch in the matrix. lol And once again all my players have a 3 rating down the board but my opponent has atleast 4-5 players with a 4 or better rating. Its like my whole team is just ok, but my opponents players had a good game but it still ended 0-0. There is still so much about this game I don't get. But atleast my team is keeping the ball out of my own net. I have secretly covered the front of my net with saran wrap so nobody can tell its there.
