so my goalie is 2 points off best shooter on the team and he has the highest passing AND technique. should I put him as the kicker in the corner kicks / free kicks sets?

In real life I assume that no one would do that because the other team can get the ball and run it up and score before the guy gets back in the net, but in this sim is the game going to realize that's a potential problem? I kind of doubt it, and it'd free up the guys currently kicking to be pass / header recipients. Anyone see any reason this WOULDN'T work? Long term it'll be less of an issue as other guys train up their shooting (no reason to train the goalie there) but for now it's very tempting...

Each play does seem like an individual event, so I think you'd be okay. You have to try it in some friendlies just to see if it hurts.

did for a few games - doesn't seem to have hurt me any. It was odd seeing that he was leading the team in SW for awhile but he never put any in...

got a D man doing it now who has 1 more shooting but less technique and passing. who knows if it's helping...

looks like we have 1 II.1 vs. II.1 match today in the national cup so at least one of us is going out early...
looking at the matchups a few (a lot?) of us might be in trouble though...

Well, we lost 12 of the 22 this week. Dancing Meatwads, Flying Refrigerators FC, FC. Corona, White Wolves, Reading Union, PV Estates ILLUMINATI, McLean United, Baggio's Legacy, Flying Bartlebys and Team noname 30322 all advance - all the other nonames and Bleeding Wildcats, Pookinators, Atlanta Starzz, Tallina FC and Dakota Storm are out.

The robbery of the day had to be in the Cyclones vs Team noname 30322 game where the Cyclones had a 67-32% advantage in posession time, 14 shots compared to the nonames 4 but ended up losing 3-1.

well, we got 4 new managers today but none of them look to be too active...we'll see how they pan out.

I had my best pull last week- 201 and 197.... Gonna sell the 197 and hope someone takes him at 2 mil. Lets hope. I really need a quality Goalie.

so my team has now been outscored 1-0 in the past 3 games. Yes, we have gone 3 full league games with ZERO goals...

I have been tweeking with line-up.... not sure if having them all over the place actually effect the game. I was getting blanked until recently.

I forgot to go normal on my tactics on that one....

I have only scored 9 goals all year. 9 goals in 15 games, man my team sucks. Then again, I guess it is soccer. Good news is, I have only allowed 8 goals all year. Which is pretty impressive considering my goalie isn't really that good. I'm having a hard time figuring this game out. I beat one of the top 4 teams then turn around and lose to one of the bottom 4 teams. Sooner or later I will get it down........I hope.
