there has been nothing powerful about my powerplay this season I have tried changing up the guys on the PP but it still sucks so at this point im open to any and all suggestions
Here are my PP stats for this season
129 total powerplays (1st in my league)
19 powerplay goals (12th in my league)
14.73 powerplay percent (19th in my league)
I am also the least penalized team in my league with only 40 times shorthanded

Powerplays are my bread and butter. Killing Penalties I am still working on, but I do believe there are some setups that are better than others. I have found that my best lines 5 on 5 are not my best PP lines, I mixed and matched various atty ratio'd players and it seems to work.
For example in Season 3 in Canada I.1 after 26 games.
Team in 1st place in Division
PPs - 133 (1st)
PP Goals - 35 (1st)
PP % - 25.55% (5th)
I have only allowed 1 SH GA (2nd)
PKs - 56 (1st)
PK % - 82.14 (5th)
PK GA - 10 (3rd)
I haven't got any SH Goals for but with how few penalties I take, killing it off is my only focus.
Special Teams is a big factor in my teams success, I get outscored even strength in at least 20% of my wins. So in my opinion dont stop trying to find the right combo because your PP to PK ratio is very nice, you just have to take advantage of it is all.

I didn't even know those league stats exist, awesome. Now all we need are CORSI statistics. (oh wait - pro only.. damn)
The guide states that passing is very important for the powerplay - I tend to go by that. High shot / high passing is imperative for my players if they want to make the PP.

On my side, i have also mixed up my PP and PK. Not using the same lines as 5 on 5.
On PP i focused on offense and shooting, even for d-man.
On PK i focused on defense even for Attackers. So far so good.
My 2 SH were taken early in the season when i didn't paid attention to Pp and PK.
