and i detest any that does not provide good challenging and real competition. Demoting in purpose is boring. I was bored on hockey due to been too impossible to promote and compete on D1. so i demoted and i am even more bored!!!
So that means we really wants to be in a league WITH me? Since he's tanking key games to drop down to my level? Oh well, lose one evil and get another one.
I'm not sure he actually has 4 A players. His SA is lower than both of ours Dupa. He has a larger variance in what shows as a result. Especially since I've gone through 75% of the draft list with 0.
As for Tesco, I think you'll have a harder time down here gaining OTR than you think, you won't breeze through as easily as you are planning

I dont believe the SA is the be-all, end-all of understanding the projections either though. Maybe my L10 SA means means that my projections are 65% accurate, and your L12 SA means yours are 75% accurate. Maybe these "A" players fall into the gray area of guys that I scouted accurately, but you didn't?
In the last hockey draft, I saw an "A" player go in the 4th round. There's no way that NOBODY in the league scouted the guy.
Dont get me wrong.. higher SAs should yield better draft results, but I dont think its cut-and-dry that your draft will be better than mine just because you have a higher academy. I still think there is a facet of "luck" to it.

Oh you are right no way is SA the only factor, I'm sure HR and scouting % are also involved. I'm more pointing out the fact that I'm either incredibly unlucky as at this point since I've been clicking randomly or you don't have 4 'true' A's. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle since as I said I have about 25 unscouted players still.
Well I found 1 "A" and covered everything but goalies so is Rochester's is accurate, 3 of his "A"'s must be Goalies. If not, then hopefully his 4 "A" players are either my "B" and my report is more accurate. Either way, he shouldn't be in this draft, damn redcoat. LOL
I scouted every goalie except one which will be done tomorrow. I guess we will find out on Sunday how many A's we have.
In an odd twist of fate, my first round pick was a "B" guy, but my second ended up being an "A". Looking forward to him showing up at Academy!
Howdy II.2! Looks like i'm way in over my head already judging by your teams. Looking forward to playing with you guys, just remember to play on very low when you play me. wink wink
Good luck this season gentlemen!! Cheers!!

All the talk about that draft and I'm pretty sure everyone is disappointed with it from the results I've seen so far.
I'm happy enough with my 2 picks. Both have good Qs in the attributes that they need them. Nice to get them right at the beginning of the season, they should train well.
My C picked player started with 329 OR and a 72% AVQ. Which to me sounds like a C player.
unreal..i've tried twice to sell my 2nd best defensive player of last season for a minimum of 100k, (a gold mine for any new III team)...and still cant sell him.lmfao... freaking noobs.
... or maybe people are just really smart?
honestly, purely defensive players are kind of a dime a dozen (unless they're goalies).
At least that's how I see them... but then, I've got too many of them as it is.
I think most teams want more/better shooters, not more defensive specialists. If a team wants to allow less goals, they spend their money (rightfully so) on a better goalie.

interesting...really smart eh? ok, as i stated, he was my 2nd BEST defensive player in III last season, a season in which i went 58-0. came in 5th in the ENTIRE world in defense, and 4th in offense. Nevermind the fact he was also one of the leading scorers. AND ,as i stated, he would be a gold mine for anybody in div.III. wisely developed and skilled player.
And i dont disagree with people focusing on offensive players over defensive, that usually is the case with people that don't understand the game completely. not like im pawning him off on higher divisions, just the one in which he DOMINATED. FOR CHEAP. Now whos schmart?
