I'm not sure what you mean by "5th in the ENTIRE world in defense." I'd imagine that you're talking about the "top" rankings for goals against or something... because your defense rating was not that good last season.

How many active teams were in your division last season? I'd imagine that you went 58-0 largely because you played against a majority of teams that were either inactive or didn't have managers.

There's nothing wrong with that. That just tends to be how division III works (particularly in handball which has the least US managers of all 4 sports, by FAR).

But the thing is... inactive teams, and teams without managers aren't usually actively buying players in the market.

So there's your answer.

Unless you have a player who's worth something to the active managers (ie. the people in the higher divisions), you probably won't make much on a sale. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the average manager in division III had no idea that your player was even available for sale. Some go several days, or even weeks, without taking a meaningful look at their team.

Correct. and yep, thats the stat i was referring to.
I had 3 competitive teams, one swamp rats that were player wise, better than my team by far, but still beat him 4-0 all season. III is easy peazy...we all know that.

I wasnt looking to make a lot of money on the guy 100k is peanuts. no matter ill just hold onto him, hes still useful. This season isnt about winning, rather sustaining while my triple completes...savin money.

There should still be a market for good defensive players (including players who would be good on newer teams), though it may be that your player cost too much relative to the alternatives (with similar age and OR). You could try a few times at 100k or try at 10k and hope one or two teams get into a minor bidding war.

Snuck that win out today. Played the back-ups and almost lost. I thought I would need the higher intensity, now I know it has to be very high, back to a good rotation like I did last year.

Oh crap... I have 88 mil and forgot to start it. Oops.

Nah. I built a bunch of Triple Minis instead. I think I have seven of them now. I think two are still 20-30 days from completion. I'll either start the last one next season, or begin maxing them out depending on finances.

I should end next season with 8 triples, though most of them will only be 1,000 seats (I haven't had enough money in time to build maximum triples and earned about enough to build an extra minimum triple by the deadline to build a minimum triple each season).

Umph... Rough season for such a promising team. Hopefully next season I'll clean my act up and coach this team

This is also the hardest division in DII by a wide margin. Top 8 just beat up on each other during the regular season.

Yeah, somehow I always seem to find the hardest ones. Same w/ hockey it feels. I still need spend a little more time and focus on playing this game (or quit). Half-assing a job isn't going to get me anywhere.

Did not help with Shadow and I coming down here. I am glad I made it through the first round. Dupa had me so worried.
