This result is tough luck. We tried our best but we could never catch up on that 1st goal. Goalkeeping was not that bad overall, but our efficiency with shooting is way below the level I was expecting. We might do some adjustments and tests with Czech Rep. They are way stronger than us, so we'll probably let that game go to be ready for a last chance against Brazil.

Another lost game today. This one was expected, we played with lines 3-4-5 so we can be ready and fresh for the last crucial game against Brazil. Again, our goalies are not up to the task. Good entry though from Tiago Soares who at 15, is the future of the U18 seleção.
And we lack shooting but mostly experience. Players at the end of 15 should already have 5xp and U18 players should be at 20 xp to get selected.
You can gain xp for your players (it will greatly benefit your team as well) by playing all your friendly games with your young players and at VH intensity. As for your best prospects try to make them play 1 or 2 rounds of the national cup.
If you play 90% of your official games at Normal intensity and all your frinedlies at VH you will also be able to have all tactics at 99%. So in the long run, it's a win-win situation.

Finally we win a game. We didn't have the choice anyway. The tactic paid off as well as putting back some shooting skills in line 3. Luciano Júnior and Tiago de Carvalho were taken from the bench to play this most important game where offense and scoring was the key.

I truly don't see how I could win against France tomorrow. But I'll sure try

Today we will play against France. They are way stronger than us in all departments. I don't see how we are going to be able to beat them today. We truly need the win though since we start this new round with 0 points. Portugal is the clear outsider here.

Czech Rep will play against Switzerland. Unless they decide to play with their B team and with less intensity, I don't see Switzerland beating them. But on the day and with a little help from lady luck, who knows

USA will play against Finland. That's going to be an interesting game. USA could win that game since they only played at full intensity once. And they are in the same situation than us with 0 points, so they desperately need to win as well.

Just saw the result as I was on the road today. I will try to see what went wrong for tomorrow but once more we shot more than the other team.

Last game of the second round today. We still have a chance of qualifying. We first need to beat USA (and not in OT) and Finland has to beat Switzerland (not in OT as well). Finland has to go in OT if they want to be sure they qualify and don't want to depend on other team's result. Anyhow, it's going to be a miracle if we do qualify

The miracle didn't happen. I had the good tactic to begin with but unfortunately i made the switch to normal too early which cost 3 goals. Overall, the team did well though with two wins against good teams.
