It can happen with the first few levels of SA. there is a chart in the guide. I think it is level 3 or 4 before you are guaranteed a player
In today's game I played two goalies. One of them with goa=24, blk=19 saved 46% of shots, 13/28. Another, better-on-paper goalie with goa=35 blk=19, saved zero%, 0/10. Is that how the things are supposed to be? Even a pure random game engine wouldn't give that discrepancy.
Does G2 know he can use his body to stop the ball not his mental force-field?
I dunno. The game is simplified, we have no attributes for players' game sense, morale, or body members size.
So what you're saying is, G1 is worse than G2 but G2 is very bad. Why G1 stopped more than G2 is because he is morbidly obese?
I don't think so. A fat guy would cover a large part of the net and would finish the game with a few passive saves.
The guide says that when a goalie lets in several goals in a row his confidence suffers and the chance to save another shot decreases. Maybe this is the reason. But that meltdown is still ridiculous, not all goalies are Roberto Luongos.

Unrelated question: If the restart is Monday, does that mean the first league game is Monday? Or Tuesday, since that is when league games take place ATM? And are we able to schedule friendly for Monday?
It'll be Tuesday for first league game. Monday may be a wash. They may keep friendly games in your calendar, I'm not sure.

It is delayed, at least it was in beta. May be 1-2hr later not too sure.
I'm confused. I didn't play soccer and didn't pay enough attention during the beta. Do the formations act as Line 1 - Line 4 in hockey, or can they only come in after timeouts, for a max of 3 different lineups per game? Should the offense and defense parts of the formations be the same, or should they use different players?
They are conditional but you can play one the whole game - most likely will. Off and Def can use all different or all the same or a mix.
OK, thanks. So the formations are more like backup goalies in a sense? Do you use a different mix for offense/defense? Will playing 30 minutes VS 60 minutes effect chemistry/experience building, and energy as well?
