You get teams like Brazil that use wing backs that are actually wingers. I'd consider that weird, I don't know. Then ultra defensive ones that put everyone behind the ball to get a draw, sometimes works.

The problem we see in PM is that are few people who ever played the game in any serious form. There are so many people that understand absolutely nothing about defense and the need for players to perform their marking assignments. So many formations here not just dont work, but are completely unlearnable by even the smartest soccer squad.


While PM took some decent first steps to penalize the most flagrant violations, its a long way from a true soccer simulation. Fixed formations are probably the only answer to turn video gamers into real soccer coaches.

Just make money and buy good players and 4-4-2 all the way and win all the games.

I just dont see why 4-2-3-1 is not working here. Its the formation that best teams in RL use.

Has anybody tried 4-5-1 and training shooting 70%+ for wingers?

No, but if you look enough you'll find they are out there. I've used 4-2-3-1 with success myself quite a bit. As long as you have very strong midfielders, you will control the game with that lineup.

PPM made a huge mistake couse they count shooting in ratings only for forwards, like others are not alowed to score The question is if I train shooting for wingers will it show in game result, couse I cant see it in ratings thanks to PPM?

Why scoring is hard in new season?

PM only believes in Srikers can score. Forget the wingers, you better have at least 2 big men up front or your in a lot of trouble in this game. If you love the Chelsea 4-5-1 like I do, watch it on tv. Dont play it here.

I semi disagree... 4-5-1 works really well at ppm add the strong midfield will shut down big strikers.
