Just a few players to finish up and I'll be scouting the 15 yr, olds too. My scouting line seems to be full or next to it all the time with trying to keep ahead on all the 3 levels. "No good player shall be missed" is tough to stay on top of, and I can do almost 2 a day.
One for the future?
Gerald Galletta
Qs are 82,87,78,56,84,86,89
192 CM, 6/6, 383 OR.
Power Forward I think?

At this moment, the U17 SF category, with the fewest prospects of any category, is neither overly impressive nor tall. IMO that is where his best chances lie. Eventually, his low TECH will hold him back. His height will benefit him more at that position as he will be at the top of the height specs, instead of the middle if trained as a PF.
Yeah SF is a must right now. We only have Bernard on the team right now at 16-15 YO.
This game makes no sense lol. I'm trying so hard to qualify Canada by putting the best roster possible on the court, but today I didn't connect in time to change the lineup after our starting PG got an injury.
We won the game with the worst lineup possible against a really good team.

Because of this, we qualify if we win vs Czech (first), and Lithuania loses vs the last team of the group. It will be hard but I'll keep the main roster. We never know, maybe Czech will play with their B lineup.
I see two things that were in our favour.
Their starting centre fouled out very early in the second quarter giving us a big advantage at that position for the rest of the game.
Our starting PG, who is really a SF, had a 20+ cm height advantage over theirs which I think might have given us a passing and shooting advantage there.
Great win!! Keep up the good work.
Good luck in the next game!

Maybe height advantage is really more important for U17? I know our SF is really really good, but he's short. (he should get to 190cm before 18)
Maybe next season I'll build the team around heigh, since it will be a weak generation for Canada.

For future consideration. OR is low, but Qs are decent.
Stewart Langley
Qs are 69,84,65,83,88,89,97. 179 height so probably too short to become a C.

I'm sorry but he's too low. I'll be only accepting around 450 OR minimum for 16yo players.
He might get in at 17, the current 16 team is weak if I'm not wrong

I'm wrong, the current 16yo are goods, the 17 is terrible.
This season will be all about building for the next. There's no way we get far with only 4 players of 17 YO on the main team.
