I havent paid attention but as I saw your post I went check yesterday's results. I dont get why the scoring difference is so high. But at the end losing by 40 or by one does not make any diference. I'll plan do a bwtter planning for next game.

Thanks for the confidence once again. This season will still be challenging. Russia ( finalist last year), Latvia (quarter final), Italy (1/8) and Estonia (qualified) are the 4 teams in our group and we need to beat 2 of them!!!

What is good (and at the same time hard) with U17, is that players are changing quickly. You need to scout a lot of new players all year long and hope you don't miss anyone. But if I miss someone (because it have been sold outside of the country), this is not the end of the world as it matter the most in U17 is to have YOUR players (Canadian manager) on team, so they get the training bonus.

Should you have great players (15y OT 400+, 16y OT 500+ or if I have missed a 17y OT 600+ let me know!). PF and SF are the most difficult position to fill, as always!

Should you wonder how you should train one of your player, let me know, I could help you! At the end I want the most well trained players as possible in Canada so we could fill out National team.

Today, an unexpected win against Latvia (#12) 78-76 to open the tournament. Hope it is not just luck. Follow our next games.

Italy destroy us 80-56 yesterday. I tried a different technic. Obviously it did not work. We need a win against one of the remaining two team to be in route for qualification. Without that it will be very hard. Latvia lost again so, at least, we are not last!

Being outplayed by Estonia 111-79. Our defence was terrible. Estonia played at high, did not do the same mistake twice. Hope are low to win the next one as we face Russia, but who knows. Keep cheering up!
