Asunto: Senior Canadian Basketball National Team

Make sense to let young players get more time, improve more and be stats in the junior team. Looking at that let me think that everyone will benefit that the only under age player U19 eligible already on the senior team play with is age. In the future only 20+ players will play with the senior team. But since they will have play a lot with the junior team they will graduate with some chemistry and get bonus at a younger age which they cannot get when they are the 3rd or 4th at s position with the Senior team

To all contenders interested at managing, I am open to work with you. If interested let me know, I would love if you could feel the NT team interface and help us improves. This year, we are facing strong opposition... as always!

Some update from our NT team preparation

This year we got in our pool China (winner last year) and Finland (lost against China in playoffs round of 16)

Then we have Bosnia & Belgium. Bosnia is the team to beat to advance. 2 years ago we had them in our pool and win one loose 1. We should not loose against Belgium. This is feasible but should avoid making mistakes against those 2 teams.

You should notice that I made some changes in the line-up. I think we improved with great 20 years. I dont have a full team yet and dont plan to fill the empty spots unless there is a need to. Excepted for the SF position where I have 3 players, I have 4 players at any position.

We still have 3 friendlies before things get serious. I am planning to improve chemistry of the 2nd and 3rd players at each position. Almost all starters have good chemistry already.

If we want to advance we need, at least, to win against them (Bosnia and Belgium). But we should take game one by one. We have a friendly game then Belgium! Planning to use the next game to raise chemistry of backup players (we will need them in case of injury) and regular players that are not yet on top.

Kinda hurt none of my guys got a sniff at the U19 and U17 teams

Bryon Butt is better than many on the U19 team. Just sayin'.

Is he not to tall for the position?

The penalty for being too tall is very small compared to the penalty for being too short. I actually want players a bit too tall since a height advantage over the player they are covering is a big part of defence. I'd argue that outweighs the penalty.

I didnt know that (the lower penalty thing for being to tall). Have you been able to prove this right in games? (mean is he dominating offensively or defensively against shorter guys?) I am asking because this could be very important to stop very good but shorter shooters from the other team I guess?

I proved it since it came from an in-person conversation with Vlady at a McDonalds in Bratislava, and he built the engine. I debating saying anything because it is my strategy to gain on the teams currently better than me as I focus my funds elsewhere and teams increase their strength faster than I mine.

Maybe, but definitely not good enough for being a top 2 SG. Although, to be honest I didn't see his ingame stats before today (15pts per game with 20 mins) and good shooting percentages is definitely impressive.
