France jeopardize Canadian's chance to Qualify!

Yesterday an unexpected lost from France to Argentina make things very complicated for our national team!

France is really giving us hard time when they play VL (all game) and lost in overtime against Argentina. Argentina is the only one team having played all their games. They finished with a 5-3 record. Poland, France and Canada are all even at 4-3.

In two days, Canada is playing France and Poland's playing Chile. Odds are that Poland (4-3) will beat Chile (1-6) finishing 5-3. This leaves the last qualified place to the winner between Canada and France. France, because they lost against Argentina, will probably play way higher than VL to make sure they qualify.
What is the expert's estimate for this game???

Is Farlen322 strategy could beat the odds? I am crossing my fingers that he will and at the same time that France will get hit by injuries while we are not... Am I asking too much here?!

RIP. France was just better on paper. It's so sad to know that even with good managers in Canada, we can't have a good NT because of the lack of popularity of the game.

I am looking to learn how to manage a team at the International level. I am willing to be an assistant. I think that I am decent at tactics. I have never done it, so I am a fresh fish.

Well in season 1 nobody sold high. The best player currently in the world sold for 6.8mil. If I had to redo that season 1, I would of saved up money and bought 3-4 great players...but oh well

Yea that's what seems to happen. It is foolish to sell star players then since the few mil you gain only get you a week ahead or so - easily surpassed later.

I've seen it with 4 sport launches the best tactic is to buy great players out of the gate and then build facilities later. However, I've never been able to do that. And, given how quick basketball seasons go, the investment in any player during S1 and S2 likely will have short returns as new prospects are being pulled near their OR even now!
