Got word back from Ivan.
Capacity does impact the TV offer (not the general sponsorship). So if you have stands being built right now, and are actively working to increase your stadium capacity, you're going to get a worse TV offer than if you had not started the upgrade.

Got another response... there is no plan to change it. Apparently it can't be changed and must be off current data. As someone who lives with a programmer, i know that's not entirely true.. it "could" be done if someone was willing to put in the time.

you know I think in 2007, New jersey got a terrible TV deal because they demolished the old stadium and The rock wasn't finished at the beginning of the new season

My arena currently has 1500 seats, so my TV offer is going to be about the same as last season. It's a shame, because I have 1000 new seats being built right now. My future TV sponsor must be smiling all the way home for being able to screw my team over like that. haha

It was higher than last season, albeit 300k for a whole season. I'll just have to make up for it next year. I have 1000 seats on the way and more to come later.
I figure i'll just do some day-trading on the market to make up for the money. LOL

I just now realize that last season I must have had a real crap TV offer.
Last season, I received 4 391 888 (274 493 weekly) and it was a 5 star deal.
My first offer this season, a 1 star offer, is for 9 786 320 (611 645 weekly). And I am expanding big at the moment, so the stadium only holds 1500.
But that the first offer is more then double last seasons offer gives my hope for the other offers!

My new main sponsor deal is 53% higher then last seasons 5-star deal, while my new tv offer (1 star) is 123% higher then last seasons 5 star tv deal.
It looks that my highly succesfull season has had a bigger impact on the tv-deal, while my relative low GTR (compared to my results) has a bigger impact on the main sponsor deal.
