Hypoteticaly: My 600-300-300 goalie is injured. My replacement is 300-150-150. Is that good backup? If not, I cannot accept that! I cant afford to have Brodeur and Roy in my team, so that one of them is sitting and waiting for other to get injured!

Can't you make GE recognize if OTS drops 'cause of injury (not my fault) and deliberatly replacing "1st lineup"?

Good point. But that is still a good backup. Not great, but he can at least be competitive.

you still have a third goalie who will also enter the equation. Remember that backups influence your goaltending strength.

1st GK: 557-279-278
2nd GK: 486-242-242
3rd GK: 269-134-135
4th GK: 217-109-109
now, 1+2=177, 2+1=148 (!), 2+3=105 (!), 3+4=72 (!). did not try other combinations.

Assuming a 2:1:1:1 distribution, I would guess around 5k. If the primary is higher, then so is the salary. Although you're in III, so it could be lower. Glad I could help

I think this will be a tough change for those of us still bouncing between levels but, I think it is a good start to evening things out.

Still, I must consider throwing some games this post-season as I don't want to "start" in II, be relegated [though i hope to get at least 5-6 wins next time up], and never get the OTR discount again (I'll need it at least one more time darn-it).

Vlady, would you be willing to ballpark the penalty for throwing key games either dollar-wise, by percentage, or with very descriptive adjectives? I'd like to weigh the OTR penalty vs. the $ hit.

If you can't tell us that, I understand. But, could you then ease my disappointment with a joke?
