Doc, it was more lop-sided than I could have ever anticipated. You did a marvelous job this past season with the national team. If I can bring half as much of success to the team as you did this past season it will be a good season.

Congrats scott, you have a tough task ahead trying to keep the team at the level deadrick did last season, but I'm confident you'll do a great job. We need to get that team canada site up and going!
It is in progress. Almost at a working stage. There is a tough task ahead indeed. Most of our scheduled games are on the road which will make the effort more challenging but give us an even better idea where we stand.
Well, certainly it is going to be tough to perform as well as we did last time. What I hope we see is the Canadian GMs all get really involved and invested in our national team if that's what they want 
Yup. Once we get the Team Canada site up where people can submit players for consideration, we're going to need our GM's to be submitting/updating their decent players so that canucks and whoever he picks for his assistant have an informed decision as to who makes the team.

Question about this website :
- will people be free to submit their players or will they be minimas for each position to be respected ?

Currently I've just got plans to allow people to submit whoever they want, so that the Canada GM has access to all data... The GM can decide whoever makes the cut. If we find that a lot of "fluff" players are being submitted, then we can change the code to reject players that do not meet certain criteria...
I agree Saint, because we will be offering filters for the GM, then if there is garbage, we will just ignore it.
I did have one idea though.
I was thinking we would give away generated passwords to anyone that wanted one.
And we record which password was used to put the players into the database. This way if someone is screwing around we can delete all their submitions and revoke the password.

That's actually a good idea. We don't want people fudging the data.
Having the submissions code-based should cut a lot of that out. But I never considered people to fudge the data. Guess I'm too trusting
it might not be us... it could be non canadians, or just random people that find the site.
