since the new design it seems to be going slow for some users although we are unable to figure out where the problem is.

That's always been a popular request. The Devs have it on their backlog, I'm sure.
Yes, as saint2e said, it's been requested. The problem being server load. It'd take up a massive amount of space memory wise. Consider there are roughly 36,000 hockey teams. Now assume there are no nonames and strictly only registered teams. That gives 18,000 games/day. That's 2,016,000 games/season. That's for the current numbers and just for hockey... there are even more teams in soccer.
would be nice to have a ten man junior roster, players that you could train, but if they play a game then they move to the regular roster.

How is this different than carrying 10 guys and not playing them? Just curious your thought process here. I could see a junior roster being used, but they play pseudo-games to increase their experience. Albeit a tiny bit here and there.
I think to increase the size off the rosters of teams. 40 players is not enough. Have ten juniors and they only count towards the 40 once they play a game with the pro team...?
Okay I see your point. 40 players is two rosters though. Most pro teams won't have more than that under contract professional contract.
I think NHL teams have 50, and most European teams have a young boys or equivalent team full of prospects... I only want it because soccer you can almost have 3 full line ups and hockey you can't have 2 if you use all 4 lines.
Problem I run into is fielding a team when you have 20+ guys in a training camp...
Same in hockey too I would imagine. But at the same time I guess that is part of how the game is set up...
I'm glad they have the excessive players fee. You really shouldn't be carrying a huge roster in all reality. I'll relay this suggestion to the developers but creating a farm team would be a lot of work and take up a bunch of computational power.
