Tough luck all around, believe me. Why not this...
The ability to convert a player to your nationality if he's been on your team for 5 full seasons (560 days)? That'd be a compromise of sorts. Kind of like getting your citizenship in real life. Guys do that all the time in soccer and the world cup.

That would be interesting but it would be abit weird with the naming lol
Why? There are lots of people in Canada with non-English/French names. It would make Canada more realistic anyways
.

I know someone whose last name is Ludzik... born and raised here. No problems with that name for me

Ok, but they aren't allowed to have played for another team in an international tournament, like current IIHF rules.
this is a really good idea actually.. or better yet, make them a dual citizens lol
It's being submitted into my monthly report. I will see what they think. And yes, TheChad... that's a good rule. Once they play ONE GAME for an international team, they can't change their citizenship.
But that leads to an issue where teams will grab all young talent, play them for an exhibition or pointless game, which prevents them from being able to change nationality.
I think that GMs should have to 'sign a waiver' to let their players play.
If they don't refuse it within 5-7 days, then it is automatically accepted.

Interesting. The player can always gain citizenship but not national team eligibility...
Suggestion:
As part of the "Team Analysis" it would be excellent to have "Latest games vs. this team" to show you your recent history with that opponent (tournament, friendly, league), in addition to the "Latest competitive games".
Would offer increased scouting possibilities, as well as just being plain neat to see.

Fully agree since it would be nice to know past team trends from past games. it should also include any changes to overall ranking in Goal, def, off & shot.
Here's a suggestion from Pro3000. I think this is a more appropriate forum for it. I'll post my thoughts about it right after.
Hi!
I don't know for the other countries, but canadians leagues are pretty unfair...I mean look at the III.2!! Compare this league to the any other division 3 in canada... you will see the difference!
I'm in the III.2 and I think it's unfair for me and my opponents that in the others leagues, everybody have more chance than us to reach the division 2 with very less experience and a worst team... When you see that some teams that have been releguated from the III.2 last season and now can easily be promoted to II while we are still very far from it is very frustrating...
Please do something PPM,we all want to be in II! Make the game fair!
