is it just me or was this draft really bad again? I would have thought that the first league in the country would have some talent in draft...
Talent level (0-5 stars in the SA) is independent of league. Your SA affects only the OR of pulls so, for the most part, I.1 will have better OR players than II.X but not better AQ players.
Not just you, the draft sucked for us in 2.4 too. My A pull is a 75% Avg piece of decent OR but trash distribution. There were 3As that I scouted total. The B I tried to pull ended up being a 67% garbage pull, too. Starting OR only goes so far when your main quality is 72
I nabbed an A player - he's on thr market for the same reason.
Ahh, I was not aware of that. I thought there were more high talent players available in higher leagues. Idk, it would make sense to me...
It's too bad it kinda makes it useless to waste our time (and money, I decided to do automatic filling of scouting spots for 15 credits) scouting and in the end it was all for nothing. There was so little talent that I didn't even bother showing up at draft time.

Ya, I hear ya. They can't give an edge to top leagues, it'd be unfair. I had advocated for better draftees and weaker player pulls, but people complained. So now we get weak both. Over the long run, it's the same as when the game first started and you had pulls every other week but twice the players. I still think drafts are better though since if you put the effort in you can at least get a couple 70 AQ guys. But for elite teams, 70 AQ is blargh.
The draft was fun back when it was buggy, and we'd constantly find 1-2 A+ players. That lasted about a season and a half, though

You can't saturate the league with star players. I'd rather have a SA pull on day 1. And an end-of-season draft. That's it. You'd only be getting players at the start of the season that way (no late-season pulls) plus it is more realistic. But people would surely bitch about whathaveyou.
true, but the way it is right now hardly feels like it's even worth the effort to scout all these players either.
Funny story too: most of the draftees I ended up keeping lately were from the mid-season draft.

I have lost so many games this season that shouldn't have even been close. Frustrating cause I should be a lot higher in the standings.
Same situation for me... It's always fun to lose a game when you double the opponent on shot...
Those are the worst. I know they happen, but sometimes they come in bunches and it's pretty frustrating

It happend too often this season for me... I lost 3 or 4 game that I shouldn't. It's that kind of season for me with a lost in the first round of the N.C.
Oh neat. Over $1B for the first time, good for 87th in the world. But in looking noticed I'm 11th in OTR. Amazing how much you can climb when the ladder gets shorter
