I planned things out... once I knew I was moving up, I chased some Free Agents to shore up my talent. Must've timed things right, cuz somehow I finished in 10th in my first season in I.1. I was just hoping not to finish in the Bottom 4...
I've been wondering if I go after talent or continue to build facilities and complete the arena (20K, but no snack bars, etc). I know I need to get more talent to compete at that level but at the same time I like the idea of building a good facilities core and continue to build my current talent. Decisions Decisions
I've decided to complete my arena and some of the other facilities before going after high priced talent needed to compete at the next level. As soon as my sponsorship deals are done the last 2 sections will be upgraded to 2500 seats. Trying to maximize future sponsorship deals. Thus more money for high priced talent.
Yeah, I think that's the plan for me too since I don't anticipate staying in DI. Arena is done less the snack bars and parking stuff, working on facilities now to max out the main ones and then when I get talent I can properly train them to build them into studs. Once all the spending is over with, it's banking the cash and then I can blow on high talented players.
I know its very early in the season, but starting today I play 6 of the top 7 teams in the league. And I'm aiming to shake things up a bit!
Wow yesterdays game vs Fighting Hawks my team totally dominated. Outshot them 52 to 16. But their goalie played out of his mind, stopping 51 shots. Toads managed to win 1 to 0. But what an effort by Gyorgy Palovics. Awesome job!
Thanks, I'll need it. Happy if I can go .500 up there the first year. See one of ya next season.
