Draft has been a bust so far. A bunch of Bs. Not good all around. I figured if there were no As, then I would take a B goalie. Haven't found one of them, so maybe a Universal winger. Nope. There is one Universal dman with a B. Meh.
Of course I'm picking 13th, so it doesn't matter what I scout. Yay for silver linings.

erm... the draft picks I got are *worse* than the picks I can get through my sports academy. why?!?
That was an awful draft for us. I think the only A players were all 5/6. A bunch of garbage, really.
Okay. I see what you mean. I just looked at my pulls. Holy crap. The top 3 just showed up. They were all Bs, and 3 stars at some positions. I already fired the r1 pick. I was going to fire the next two, but I have to scout them to confirm just how bad they really are.
For example, the 3 star forward has Qs of 79O/40S/74P/32T/64A. That's awful

Alright. Scouted my second round pick. He was a B. What does PPM say about B players on the draft page? Something about being a starter? Or a good back-up? Yeah. I don't think so. AQ 53, Dman Qs of 56/50/53/69. He might be good enough for a brand new team.

its because you can spend 10k-500k in the market and get a player who is a vast improvement for the team right away with 200+ OR, 30+ experience and cheap daily costs. The market for 15-20 year old's with good career paths are for the established teams. The newer teams quickly learn to go for the throw aways with good OR but bad CL or OK OR and 3 out of 4 good Q's. They all go for cheap
Each year the bottom of the market keeps getting better and better for the new teams.

I think *this* illustrates the disconnect between what PPM thinks is "good enough" and what the actual managers think is "good enough".
Never been in a relegation fight before. What does it take to stay safe in a league? The playoffs make it a little confusing.
A better team![:P :P](https://appspowerplaymanager.vshcdn.net/images/ppm/smiles/new/tongue.png)
Finish 17th-20th in the regular season and you are relegated automatically. 9th-16th have the playoffs to determine their final position. The relegation playoffs are just like the regular playoffs for the top 8. Lose in the first round, and you might relegate.
After the relegation playoffs are finished, 13th-16th will play the runner-up from the leagues below in a best of three. Winner plays in II.4 next season.

Okay, that's what I was thinking, but it's just confusing the way the league position means nothing except for your placement in the playoffs...
