I'm curious about this too. The guide says there are a number of factors at play including level and number of leagues. This didn't change when Australia merged with Oceania.
Given all Australian players sponsorship went down substantially but the NZ players didn't, it would appear that our offers are being calculated against the Oceania league status of a couple of seasons ago before the merger happened. Surely, the more sensible option is to bring the offers of the smaller group of teams up to that of the larger group rather than the other way around.

I've also been wondering WTF was happening with this situation???
The match engine is very, very wrong. There are a lot of random matches. Many managers stop playing PPM.
I not agree this point. The match engine is ok,you must to work more for better results.my opinion
He play very well, one wonderful victory.Good luck next time
Sorry but that's a weak excuse for claiming the engine is shit. 10% difference in team strength and a 1-0 result. I'd say that's what we'd expect in real life 30-40% of the time.
He is playing with normal and I very high important!!!!
He get a red card!
You never see realistic the game!

In Hungary, many managers are very unhappy with the game engine! A lot of people have stopped the game.
So you have never seen a big club winning a game where they got 1 player sent off due to a red card? I know it's a hard defeat to lose from 10 players in an important game, but that's football, and not unrealistic.
Only the PPM team members see it as normal. In Hungary, they also share my opinion.
Look at real soccer...there are a lot of teams who loose the importante matches with outsiders...you must to stay concentrate at your targhet,,,you win-go on,you loose-go on
It is a game, not real football! The managers waiting for real results.
Many people have sacrificed a lot of time of their team, waiting for real results.
