I played low importance with low aggression. My opponent played high importance with high aggression, yet I get 2 red cards?

you played normal aggressiveness. Match importance does not influence the fouls and cards directly. Only indirectly - higher importance means more possession which means more fouls suffered (not committed).
everything is about probabilities. Getting 2 red cards is not very likely, but theoretically it can happen even if you play on low aggressiveness. If you look at only one match, there can be many things which did not according to expectations. In the long run, however, the pattern is clearly visible.

Incorrect. More possession in almost all football leagues throughout the world generally means less fouls. It's the defending team that tend to take the most fouls, not the other way round.
When that opponent is playing more aggressive... that is always going to result in them being fouled.
Assuming your answer is correct, i should get very few fouls or red cards for the remainder of the season. Afterall, what are the chances of a weaker, more aggressive team playing mostly defense having less fouls... LOL

Not happy to hear the second though. It's a suggestion and not a question but I would recommend that it will be implemented in future updates. It would just be realistic and add some reason to substitutions. Maybe let players at least tire during half-time.

Wait, so if substitutes don't actually offer an advantage, why use them?
So a fresh player in the 2nd half isn't going to be better, even though his in-game energy is higher?

That's how I understood vlady.
Now for me reasons for substituting are: tactical changes, energy saving, giving chemistry to players, fun.

Maybe they can't separate 2 half times and energy in them. If they would be able to do so, it would only have significant effect at the end of a season (having players with 78 and less energy) and playing very high.
Tactical changes only really apply if moving positions around.

The point of a substitution is to ensure a stronger player is put on in place of one with lower energy. If there is no actual in-game advantage, then substitutions become pointless with regards to the actual game-in-progress.

The point of a substitution is to ensure a stronger player is put on in place of one with lower energy. If there is no actual in-game advantage, then substitutions become pointless with regards to the actual game-in-progress.
But that is separated since season 3 I think. So players loose energy (both of them) according to the time on the field.
you didn't read what I wrote very carefully, did you? I said more possession means more fouls suffered (which is exactly what you said)
They loose energy, but in order to have some impact I think they would need to make 2 match calculations instead of 1. You know, 1 for each half-time.
