My Goalies need a boost so I have found a good old guy to help them until they are ready. My best Goalie was a 266 and the new one is a balanced 366.
I think spending on a goalie that will improve you quickly is a much better use of money then taking a long shot on a 6/6 whos 15 at 260 OR and might not pan out at all. I see people spend over 120 mil on players like that consistently. If anything I'd rather spend the money on a 19 yr old who has trained well and has 5/6 that just dropped etc. I'm cheap with the money though.
me too-- bought some great forwwards for like 13mill a piece they were 6/6 and in 600's
I don't like to drop big money on players. I learned my lesson. Currently facilities are more important. 1 player is not going to help you. The highest amount that i spend on a player, is 8 millions. I can drop 10-15 millions only on a very good goalie. My current best players with OR of 700, i bought them for 5-7 millions. If you be patient, you could find really good players for a low price.
Like this guy Staff member I bought him in season 7 for 2.5 millions. Turned out to be a good deal.

I paid more then 3 times what I have paid for any other player. He has played in Czech I, II and III with a save of over 90 and EXP of 118. Yes he will not be a long term player but i hope to get at least 3 season out of him. By then my young USA C/L 5 Goalie should be will into the 300's and Exp to take over.
Why? I reject all my young players that are around that. Rather spend the money on exp. ones
I think it's a good deal if you hurry and invest in your facilities to grow him quickly. 100k for that player is a steal no doubt.
