Hell, do you want PPM to just give you ever figure you need? What is the point of a MANAGER game if there is no need to actually think and manage the team?

Once again the PPM soccer refs prove how freakin useless they are!

This happens almost every single game.. did you guys get your soccer refs from a blind-school? I mean, geeze, even the game update (above) mentions it was a mistake.

So here's my suggestion...

If a guy gets pulled down inside the penalty box, give the guy a damn penalty shot!

and did you consider the commentator being biased?

One thing I can tell you for sure is, that there is no such thing as a referee error implemented in the engine. If it's not a penalty, then it's a right decision. But in live broadcast it's more about the point of view and entertainment value.

Well i can tell you, when this happens almost every single game, the entertainment value is sadly lacking. In fact, it does nothing but annoy me.

The important part your leaving out here is the start..

The above quote is now what is stated before the part in your post. Before, it wasn't nice to read the play as one would think a penalty should have been given...
Now you KNOW there is either gonna be a free kick or a penalty.

IRL, referees miss decisions like this in practically every game, whether its a penalty, free kick, handball, etc, etc..

The bit at the end is from the POV of the commentator.
If you use your imagination a little bit you'll work out that he is aided by video technology in his comfortable studio.

It's only for effect guys... the fact you dont get a penalty only makes you come back for more!

That's not what the game report said on my one. I'll track down what it actually said, no doubt i'll see it again in the game later today. LOL

There are several different plays for this commentary.

I think one of old ones still remains, it may be the one you picked up on before. If this is the case, then there isn't immediate info whether there will be a decision made by the ref, whether its a pen or a free kick.

I think it goes along the lines of...
"Player X is fouled just on the 18 yard line (commentators viewpoint)...
The ref intimates that the foul took place outside the box (refs viewpoint)...
The match officials got it totally wrong here, it was a stone wall penalty (commentators viewpoint)."

When reading this play, one should read it as per bracketed viewpoints, otherwise the argument that the text is wrong will continue...

But I assure you TB, when read as the above, it makes perfect sense.

Can we please have that annoying audio in soccer NOT auto-start? It annoys me everytime i have to turn it off. Hockey also.

Could we please have an earlier indication of when international cup qualifying matches will be taking place so that participating teams don't have integral players from the first team in training camp? This could be done by message from the team owners at the end of previous season or be written in the guide.
