Asunto: U17 national team

Right now I'm just training his def. Attribute. He's never going to make my squad so not too fussed on training full ratios.

Joseph Cox has just had his fee paid, so he's on the market for 25million! He's heading to England to a club with lv15 training facilities unless he gets another bid which will be good for him and the u17's

If Bronteflynn isn't interested, i know i would be happy to welcome the third trueblue youngster to my squad. Martin Balks and Scott McGrath have turned in good matches with the national team lately and im confident i could do a good job with henderson as well.

Also what is the reason you put Abe Doherty in the national team so quickly, is it because he is a universal side defender?

It's a mistake. I meant to click Add to Scouting and accidentally clicked Add to National Team. It won't let me dismiss him. If anyone knows who would be a good person to ask to get it rectified, it would be much appreciated.

..since we spoke last time, I pulled another promising D from SA and as he can't play WD, it seems to be easier to set Dwyer as WD so I keep giving him full time at LD in first squad atm..

I have done that a few times as well but it was before day 14 so i could just dismiss them.
You think when you clicked on it a menu would come up and say do you want to add this player to the national team and then a option yes or no. I dont think you can do much about it i think you can only dismiss him at the start of next season

Bugger! I got the same advice from one of the PPM helpers so I guess it's true. I was hoping there'd be someone you could ask nicely and explain it was an honest mistake and they could just reverse it.

Out of interest, are you thinking of him as a centre or wing defender? He's probably more suited to wing with his low heading quality. At the moment, I've only scouted six 15yo defenders and he appears to be one of the top four but there's a good chance that'll change before the season finishes.

I was thinking side defender because of the low quality in heading. He should be more useful then becasue he can play both sides.
Have you scouted my other player Noah Kelly yet?, His quality a little bit low in passing so im going to train him as a side midfielder and his preferred side is universal so he should be useful as well.

He's on the list. He should be done tomorrow. I have nine 15yo midfielders scouted so far. Only two (Tony Morse from Rudderz and Preston Houghton from the Terriers) have qualities that would put them on par with the current U17 nat team players so there are definitely spots up for grabs still.

The U17s travelled to the Ukraine last night and received a 4-0 kicking. Disappointing as it was, it lets us know exactly what we're up against since the Ukraine player ratings were very similar to those of the USA team who we take on in our first competitive game next weekend.

I have fairly low expectations for the USA game since they have the home ground advantage and, player for player, their match ratings and overall ratings are consistently better than ours. However, luck does play a part in PPM and I have spotted a couple of "weaknesses" in their team so I will approach the game atempting to exploit those weaknesses and with my fingers crossed

Disappointing result for the U17s, going down 4-0 to USA. It was always going to be a tough game but having one of our centre midfielders sent off pretty much ruined any hope we might eke out a draw or win.

The next match is at home against Kazakhstan, one of the teams on par with ourselves so it is a must win.

assuming we played very low because you wanted to conserve energy in a match you didnt think we would win or did you just forget to change it?
