I didn't find anyone other than the 4 listed above that would be especially helpful to the team this year.

Good catch on Dexter. I replaced him with Dan Tompkins . There's a small drop in chem, but Tompkins has a winger build with a bit of pass. He also has a bit more exp (38).

How much exp for Dankert?

Yeah, I set up his lines for him and he hasn't changed them. LOL.

Gallant got injured at LD

The backups aren't great. It sure would be nice if we could add Lorenz right about now. He's +160-200 OR on the two backup dmen currently on the roster. I have to wonder why he was cut in the first place.

That's an odd decision. CL doesn't really matter on an U20 team.

No active database I am sorry to say. It is to bad that the Assistant can not add players.

If there is a new database in the future, I probably have at least 500 players to contribute.

I'm thinking that you should be heavily involved in the NTs every season. I love what you're doing.

Two games in and we are doing okay. I was hugely disappointed with that first game. The UK went on VL against our VH. I was hoping to get an early lead and then conserve energy. Nope. And we dominated everything. 53-11 in shots. 80-20 in possession. Penalties were 0-8. And still they were one bounce away from sending it to OT. That would have sucked.

I also learned an important lesson from this game. Even though NT games are listed under the Players section of the guide as only losing 1.5 energy points for playing on VH, they do in fact lose 3.0 points. This info is in another table in the National Team section of the guide.

I tried to play this one on High, but Sweden probably saw my VH in game 1 and had to match it after playing VL in their first match. Luckily they didn't get too far ahead before we switched it to VH.
Trailing 0-2 late in the second period, Neo Mathews scored a shorty to get us on the board. Michael Robertson scored an unassisted goal to tie it up with 12 minutes to go. Then
Rod Luke scored the game winner with 17 seconds left

Might want to point out the discrepancies in the guide so it gets corrected. So far, so good it seems. Smart trying to manage the energy after finding this out, too bad you could only conserve it for one period.

i noticed the 3 points and i was like ... holy crap!!! my players will be dead before the end of the 1st phase.

Since the senior team is in a tough group being the second worst in the group, I don't have much options to save energey

i lost my job (i was working crazy hours). so now i have time again and will be working on hockey and handball database starting this monday
