tough lose to swallow.. we were up 2:0, and then 3 unanswered goals lead to pulling noah tierney. the captain, beliveau blocked the shot on an empty net, and passed it up to girard, and then couldn't make it...

It was a good tournament, for Canada having a lot less managers, and a lower overal rating then the other countries, we gave them a good run. Congrats on a year well done Saltyanchovy

thanks everyone! i'll write my speech thing within a couple days. i really thought that we had a shot at a medal this time, but i ended up thinking too much and chose a "wrong" tactic, so i must admit that is slightly disappointing
anyhow, thanks for all the support and help! it's been a fun season for sure!

Great job saltyanchovy! From our first game against Germany until today's oh-so-close game against Slovakia. I really admire the way you set the lines and tactics throughout the week, too bad the Slovak's caught us today.
I think jaimz76 should be recognized for providing the team with Aaron Girard in such great shape (I think he started the tournament with 95 energy). His play (9 points) in the tournament was stellar.
I believe this team has the right players to get into the medal's very soon. As long as we have Noah Tierney , we have a chance against anyone.

I think Rowan Craig is the next Tierney. Tierney is 3/6 bound and Rowan Craig will easily be better when he turns to 3/6 (currently at 6/6).
