Kind of figured with 4 sports going now it can be hard to follow the national teams if you're not managing them. Glad to hear these updates are helpful.

He gets a mask to wear for the tournament and everything and in return just gets worse as the games go on. No worries, he's pretty tired now and about as good as Davidson due to energy, so he's getting a rest this next game.
You did mean the goalie, right? Not Bill and Hillary...?

very disappointing and bad loss against UK.
we had the best tactics but Kevin Clinton was too upset at the USA loss at the Soccer world Cup and he wasn't himself. This was perhaps the worst game in his career. And timing couldn't be worst.
Too bad as I thought if we made it to the top division we'd stay there for a while

Kevin Clinton easily had his worst game as a national team member, as bulls mentioned. He let in 3 of 7 shots, but Chad Davidson came in to relieve him and stopped all 17 shots he faced. The PPM guide claims goalies start every game with neutral confidence, but apparently goalies are like women; you should always try to ride the hot one. Lesson learned, a bit too late.
The blame doesn't lie completely with Clinton, either. Our forwards couldn't find the back of the net to save their lives. Yes, UK had been resting their top goalie to pull him out for the tournament, but that's no excuse. For any managers with NT players reading this, please train shooting to AT LEAST 70% of primary for forwards. I will contact managers individually regarding players who don't already meet this to see if they will be willing to modify training. If not, there may be some tough decisions to make for whoever wins the election.
Now in lieu of an exciting final four match up on Independence Day, we present to you: A Meaningless Game With the Swiss (in Technicolor where available). Enjoy your fireworks!

Do you think that I should start with Lenhart in the U18 semifinals game tomorrow? Lenhart has been the starter for most of the tournament, and he has been decent for most of it. Shaw gave up 5 goals in his only game (though it was behind a weaker team playing on very low). Even so, because of energy, Shaw is slightly better at the moment, by ~5-10 goaltending team strength.
After what I saw the last couple days, Lenhart's your boy. With energy Davidson would have only been slightly worse than Clinton had I started him, in the same range as you're describing.
I decided to go with Shaw, though I gave him a really short leash. Shaw turned out to have 137 (it was 134 in the game played at very low importance) goaltending strength while Lenhart ended yesterday's game played with 3 lines on very high at 126. I almost went with Lenhart, but the difference in the value seems to have been about enough to make a difference (though Shaw did end up giving up 4 goals by the end of the game).
You're letting the fans run the show, I see. Getting yourself a nice little Luongo fiasco going?
I already sent people to burn his house but after this I'm selling hit to some 7th division team in russia. Good luck to him playing on half frozen ponds.
and you're partially at fault. You should have played Tim Howard as a starter. He's used to covering big goals. The little crappy hockey goals would have been a piece of cake.

one thing i dont understand about hockey .. why dont they just hire a 600lb man? all he would need to do is sit there all day. no space left for anyone to score.
Because a fat man in skates is not something anyone wants to see.
