Yeah, been reading the thread in your new league. I'm really glad I'm still down here.
Nice win by the blazers, 7-2 over the beast. That was an unexpected result even with the beast on low.
Yes, welcome to III.1. Its been real quiet in here this season. Hopefully some of you will be talkative. Let me know if there is anything you'd like to know about the game.
Wort Hoggs made their debut today against the Crash Dummies, and got treated as Crash Dummies. We got hammered, 9-0, outshot 34-16. The good news, well the game mercifully ended after the 3rd period..
Hey welcome to PPM! Hope you stick around. I am not in this league, but I like to spread basic friendly advice! Play your league games on low energy if possible!
Kind of hard when you come up against the top team in the division to start the season. I am sure you will fare well against other teams. Just concentrate on building facilities and success will come. If you are itching to dip in the market I'd suggest you hold off until you get a hang of the game. If you must buy something, I'd suggest a goalie first (build NJ style from the net out).
So true. Had I followed this advice I would be in division II right now.
question on training if i can? for example, would i train a winger who on offence in or say shooting? Same with defence, would I train them on defence in general or certain categories?
thanks,
thanks,
You should check out the guide. It's quite good and they usually keep t updated. To answer your question, check the players section:

You can see a table of the important attributes for each position. Try to build your players with a 2:1:1 ratio. Meaning a d-man would have 50Def and 25Pass & Tech. You should also train Tech for d-men. It'll help cut down on penalties.
That should get you moving in the right direction. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Most people are happy to help
