I haven't used it on Safari. I know Chrome took it down due to some new Google update so we're working on getting it back online there. I doubt the two are related but who knows.
Chrome removed from its store. So don't get rid of it!
Yea, some new updates by Google resulted in it being removed from the Chrome store. Very frustrating to hear it is down from Firefox. Heard issues with Safari too. Gotta love when they upgrade stuff and it messes everything up - PPMe isn't the only app having these issues.
You can circumvent the block in Firefox by accessing settings in about:config and setting "xpinstall.signatures.required" as false. Though this reduces browser security as it allows all addons without check.
I would suggest submitting the addon for a verification the get rid of this annoyance.

The coder of PPMe is no longer on PPM so if you can patch it yourself that's advisable.
Learned that Mozilla plans to remove the "xpinstall.signatures.required" option completely from Firefox in the next version (44.0). So, someone would need to adopt the addon as it will soon be unusable.
Ugh. So since about this weekend, Avira has been giving me warnings about crossrider.xt (funny when you know you've downloaded it from a side called crossrider, eh?) and it uninstalls ppme when I remove the threat (Firefox). If I reinstall I immediately get the warning again, and if I ignore it it will sporadically pop up every now and then.
Yeah, I could switch to chrome. But this is annoying :/ False positive or... ?

1 hour ago it stopped working on firefox to me as well. Tried getting it on chrome, but no luck. Any idea how to get it to work again? I dont care what browser i use, gotta have it :p
It is not malicious. The platform used to make it (crossrider) has been used by people to make malicious things in the past so soms AV just block all crossrider stuff rather than look at what the code actually does.
Nice! I have been trying to figure out some by myself, but i do not know much about programs/software so i have only been banging my head at the wall :p Would have been perfect if you could help me out
As I've said before, the coder of PPMe has since left the game, graduated, working full time and working on other projects. It will really come down to whether he tries to fix it. Which, in all honesty, I bet is 50/50 at best.
