This has been a craptastic season for me so far. I can't win edge games, can't eek out an upset and hardly even win the games I should technically have in the bank.
I have a decent young core up and coming, but I don't know if I want to take the hit of selling most of my veterans to go with those guys... Although this may very well sell me on it. At this rate I may not even make the top 8 (even though my team should be better than it was the last 3 seasons... ugh!)

If I may suggest, I would simply advise you to play lower intensity. You have played most games on high or very high. Late in the season, your team will always appear worse than it really is. And playing higher intensity still brings no guarantee to win all games early on. I would suggest that you settle on a normal most of the time. Win what you should, hope for a few upsets along the way, lose some you should have won sometimes. By mid-season, if you see that you have been more unlucky than you should have, start playing higher intensity. Your team will hold up better through the season. If all goes well, you don't need to start pushing more and may be able to make more noise come playoff time.
Eh, I tried at the start of the season and kept losing games I was supposed to win.
The past 2 or 3 season, going all in early on has been the only way I've managed to stay in the top 8, getting wins in while everyone else was taking it chill. At the end of the season, it hardly mattered if I lost a few cuz i'd already clinched a spot, and I knew I wasn't making it past round 1 any way.
My veterans have stopped getting better, and my youngsters are still a bit too green to play frequently, so I'm at an in-between where I have to play 0/6 CL guys to stand a chance of winning, and I'm not giving the newer guys any exp. I think I just need to bite the bullet and let a number of guys go.![:( :(](https://appspowerplaymanager.vshcdn.net/images/ppm/smiles/new/sad.png)
I also need to find a good 21yo-ish goalie propect to stopgap between Davison and whoever my next guy is going to be. I had such good goalie prospects, and their CL ended up being craptastic...

My luck has been opposite of yours this season, Krokador.
I didn't think I stood a chance against QC Nordiques. My team is on fire.

For the second season in a row, I forgot to switch my goalies for the NC semi final game. I am not pleased without myself lol
NC might be the only positive thing this season for me if I can manage to win a game against Fleur de Lys after losing both regular game...
Aaaand the award for best draft picks for the, like , 4th edition in a row, goes to Edmonton Wellcappers, with yet another duo of 450+ 80%+ players.
Meanwhile I fish an A and he's 370 OR 75%...
Is that the trick? Do I need to take a trip back down to Div II to get good youth pulls and draft picks?

Weird.
I never got anything good when I was in D2...
This draft isn't looking too great for me either this time.
In other news, you just beat me when I had a 30 shot differential advantage. So that sucks a little bit. On the other hand, when your team isn't tired, mine doesn't stand a chance. So that makes some sense still.

That game was total bunk, tho.
The ratings at the bottom of the game summary do reflect the tiredness of my team, so technically, we should have been standing about even (your first line nad my 4th line kinda balance it out).
I had you on tactics in the first period. Final outcome aside, how do you even justify that shot differential? I sometimes don't pull that off vs bot teams! And 9 penalties vs 0 is just complete BS as well.
In other news, my SA pick for today has 5 guys, OR ranging from 165 to 221, top ratings at 1.5 star. I demand a refund. I swear, the RNG has a thing against me...

I think we can officially say this guy is the MVP of the draft:
Glenn Leaning
99/99/99/99 in defensive attribute qualities, 84% in shooting. Preferred side: U
Shame he's a 5/6 CL. He would've essentially been a perfect player otherwise.
