Yeah, my best pick was like the 3rd rounder I think. And he has a 50 in passing (goalie), so i'm not sure how viable he'll be. I've been after a new goalie for many many seasons now though, so I might just keep him 'round.
Yea it was Veilleux but starting at 322 was a bit of a disappointment. His AvQ is DEF 97 SHO 88 PAS 83 TEC 78 AGR 85.
That's barely below average for OR in this particular draft, so don't feel too bad. He has an offensive upside and not craptastic Tec, which is always a plus.
Low OR here. Took my first overall. 4* in D, but fwd build. Will terminate contract. Only took him so others could have a chance to sign and he help the NT.
Great. Lost a guy to FA as a result of being offline for the move. I really wish you got more than one "FA has presented demands" message. Should be a warning with 2 days and 1 day left. Now I'm entering the NC with an autolineup.
It happened to me in the past as well. It is weird that there are so few warnings. Especially with the amount of warnings about players auto-renewing theircontracts.
Right! And ya, RW4 gone. Spent $40. Gone for nothing. Second time it has happened to me in hockey. In fairness, haven't been paying much attention to PPM lately for reasons many of you are aware. It could be time for me to checkin on my clubs less often and let them slowly fade to black.
OK, WTF

I got screwed on tactics, ok, but the team strength discrepancy does NOT warrant this kind of game... I've performed lesser beatdowns against noname teams FFS!

Ouch. That is a doozie. Even I don't lose that bad off-site!
Home ice seems to be more of an advantage lately. Agreed that it seems pretty unlikely that would happen, especially with you going VH.
So, obviously my team is not competitive in this league. Feels like selling off low or no improvement left veterans would be the way to go, since my team handled business well in the lower division when I didn't play my top guys in order to build experience for the younger prospects.
That does appear to be a good path. If you know that this is a 'one and done' season in I.1, building for the future is the right call. Especially if you can do that and still maintain competitiveness in the 2nd league.
