The United States plays a double header against the Czech Republic in the U20 WCH and U18 today. Check it out if you have time.
PuckNut27 is now running for the U20 team. He has been the assistant on the U18 team for many seasons in addition to other NT experience and would do a good job with the U20 team.
Now we just need chrisimage to sign up again or someone else if he doesn't.
Congratulations to mmessner9 and everyone else promoting for the first time. I'll be back in two seasons.

Welcome to all the new teams. Some of the teams in USA I are rebuilding with USA only players so it should be fun season. I will slowly be going all USA.
good to see more teams going the USA only route. This will help to build our national teams! Go USA!
Is anyone else having horrible luck with sponsors this season? I'll barely break (even after my pending non-essential staff sales/dismissals) even if I don't spend a single dollar even after accounting for stadium income. Luckily I have some money saved and don't have to start worrying about RFA's for 1 more season.
Got good sponsorship offers. Won't be so good next season as my team will fall. Team will have only U.S. players after last foreign one is sold tomorrow. Now my players salaries are half of my staff salaries.
My offers are pretty much the same as last season.
I see you've already started to sell off some extra staff, but I would recommend getting rid of all the extras. From my experience, when I need a new staff member, I have always been able to buy one for much cheaper than training him up and paying his salary myself.

Though I do try to keep my staff member numbers down, I do keep a few staff members-in-training on some teams as a matter of convenience. I've had some trouble replacing good staff members that retire via the market. A lot of times I send a bid and just end up getting outbid unless I'm lucky enough to find a sufficiently good staff member right when I happen to be logged on. I generally can't log on before 7:00 p.m. central on weekdays.
I probably will get rid of all but 2 cheap extras on my hockey team. The cost of buying a 200 OR manager for instance might be as much as I pay my current manager-in-training until I need him (in this particular case) either due to demand for managers or else because I need to overbid when I can't be available at the deadline.

My OTR has taken a hit from a bad season and from being a mediocre I.1 team for a few seasons. Despite having max HRE/marketing, I'm only getting about 8m/week+1.25m/win on a 5* deal. I've demoted before, but it never got this bad.
I should probably play on very hard and stick around in II.3 to rebuild my OTR for a few seasons.

If you absolutely must have a 200 OR manager or coach, then they can certainly get expensive, especially if you wait till just before new sponsor offers arrive. It gets a lot easier to start at 80-80 though, and those guys will train up quick enough and are almost as good as 200 OR as it is. I also start looking for a new manager a month before new offers as well.
It can be tough to win bids if you can't get on earlier in the day and immediately re-bid a cherry-picker to discourage competition. Too bad there's no free agent market with staff where you can set your price and be done with it - that's pretty much the only way I buy players anymore.

Hi all! Just wanted to give a shout out to the managers in I.1. I noticed there were no candidates for the U20 team, and I decided to put my name down. I've been scouting among the current 19 yr olds in the meantime.
To introduce myself, I'm a manager from Australia, and I've been playing PPM for a few years now. I wanted to shake things up with some international competition, but we don't have a NT here.
Anyway

The NT players from the Rochester Americans are on the market. If you're interested in developing NT players for the United States or think an available player could help your team, then take a look at the Rochester Americans roster if you haven't already.
