very likely the 5/6 A+ specially since A players have not been that great
Whoa. Why does the short b-ball season bother you? I love that. It was one of the first things I asked them to change when I started playing.
How risk averse are you? 5/6 CL just means that the probability that the player will continue to gain OR at an older age is lower than it is for 6/6 CL. Also, a player with 5/6 CL might actually have 5.4 CL while the 6/6 CL player has 5.6 CL, and they might train about the same (how do your current players compare?). A's are often satisfactory at best while A+'s might be more likely to be able to become star players. In 2 seasons, they will most likely have the same CL anyway.
Also, since everyone will have better facilities in the future, the point where the players that are currently the best will continue to be useful indefinitely might not yet have been reached.
I found 7 B's and nothing better. I will probably draft random players, if I show up at all.
problem is not in 2 years... more likely 3-5 years ... what player will become 4/6 earlier??
a 6/6 may drop to 5 in a season but then will take 2 more to drop to 4. So a 6/6 is guaranteed to be 17yo 5/6
a 5/6 could be a 16yo 4/6
probability is that a 6/6 will retain CL 2 seasons longer than 5/6
while 4/6 isn't terrible, a earlier 3/6 is devastating.
an A+ 85+ Quality against an A 70+ would sure compensate if player career goes bad and will be able to sustain a better training if not.

It all comes down to how risk averse you are. A 6/6 CL 70+ EQ player is probably better than a 5/6 CL 75+ EQ player, but the 5/6 CL 85+ EQ would probably be best. If you really want the 85+ EQ player enough, then it might be worth risking the possibly bad CL path.
Considering that most B's and many A's are not worthwhile (even assuming good OR), I think the A+ is worth it.

yeah, the biggest problem is that A could actually be an B and almost worthless.
A+ could be an A and still a decent pull

I just wanted to clarify a few things.
6/6 15yo who drops to 5/6 at 16 will be 5/6 through 19yo every time.
A 5/6 15yo can't drop to 4/6 at 16yo. They can drop at 17yo, but will remain 4/6 for 4 seasons. The earliest 3/6 is 21yo.

I agree with pretty much everything said so far.
Will probably go with the A+ though... more so as an experiment. My HR in hockey is pretty much the same as my handball one. So this will give me an idea of what sort of quality an A+ in handball might be.
At the end of the day I agree with bulls though... an A could end up as a B. An A+ is pretty much guaranteed to be at least an A.

Im not sure if is true.
On the soccer database I saw "horrible" things and figure it out the possible formula
while i think it is true 5/6 wont drop to 4/6 it is not locked to 4 seasons with no dropping.
Based on what you are saying it is almost the same as saying that a 6/6 who does not drop to 5/6 in 4 seasons will drop to 4/6 the earliest possible. and that is not true neither.
Id have to look at the database again since it was a long time ago when i analyzed the data.
it was like a probability every year that reduces every season the player does not drop.
Im pretty sure Ive seen 20yo with 3/6 CL

I swear I've had players who were 6/6 at 15, dropped to 5/6 at 16, then 4/6 at 17.
