It also says 14 days until our next youth pull. I'm thinking there's just a delay... the hockey one didn't come up until after midnight, I think, maybe this one is the same?
So you both got 2nd pick? I pulled a 215 and 250 today Yay?
While I would've liked to have a much higher pick than 8th, I'm actually reasonably happy with my random draft ranking. 8th pick is like the slightly worse luck version of getting 1st overall selection.
The guide says "every team is guaranteed to pick in the first half of the first round at least twice out of the total number of four such drafts in a season." That should read as "every team will get exactly 2 top 7 picks and 2 bottom 7 picks in the random draft." They should remove the "at least" from the guide, as it's mathematically impossible for everyone to get 2 top 7 picks if anyone gets 3.
So the way I look at it, teams with 7th overall (or even 6th) are actually more unlucky than teams with 8th and 9th overall picks. Because the formers have used one of their "best 2 random selections" on a comparably low pick, while the latters have gotten the best picks possible in the lower half (and have saved their top 7 picks).
Teams with 7th overall picks in this draft could end up with nothing better than 1st, 7th, 8th, 8th from the random drafts this season.
While teams with the 8th overall pick in this draft could (statistically) still get 1st, 1st, 8th, 8th from their random rolls.
So I think, as far as the random drafts go, that you want either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd pick OR you want 8th, 9th, or 10th pick. 4th-7th and 11th-14th would be a let down in my mind.

Luther Brunson Well not the best draft pick. Got a 5/6 goalie with OR 287. But I see unscouted Q's s 95, 94, 90. So im satisfied i guess. One for the future.
Good OR to start. Much better than my 236 4 star goalie. On the market he will go for a big 10k
My academy knows my needs. Sold my 3rd goalie recently, and they get me a replacement with super Q's.

I didn't want the top 3 pick. Its either hit or miss. You select, and than wait until the end. I like my number 10 and 19.
yeah makes sense .. top 3 is either hit and miss.. much worse than just miss on the number 10 ... sure makes tons of sense
