I don't understand how a player who scores two goals can get a worse rating than a player with three fouls, and a yellow card?

just like in hockey, where the pucks for each line doesn't represent scoring at a game, only the line's strenght based on skills.

Not really, if you have a good rating is cause you played well, what Keystone is trying to say is that the player that scored two goals should have more game rating, and i agree.

Maybe it's based on the German rating system (2=good, 4=bad)?

Pardon my ignorance and I'm sure this is a dumb question but I wasn't around for hockey beta.

When the restart happens will I get all new players or will it be the same players just set back to where the are today?

I'm not familiar with that rating.... And i'm sure it's not...
