A "good" example of new rules... my friend's team ([hockey_team=73625]) plays in III.7, Slovenia. He qualified to the league finals and his 1st goalie went out. Despite this injury he's giving his best against a stronger team, but got a note from a sponsors, that they are not satisfied and obviously he will be punished with lower contract next season. I think this is very unfair and totally discredits the rule that was applied a season ago. Vlady, what do you think?
Link to his last game, he played on much higher importance than the other team, but lost in OT:

Sorry, but to me it doesn't look like he wants to "tank" the series and loose on purpose...

vlady commented on that earlier. He said it is the managers fault he does not have a good backup goalie, so he only has him self to blame.

How do Pretty Tits, Irresistable Force, Gladiadors and Glasgow Gladiators all get drawn in the same Champions League group? What is the procedure to have 4 of the top 8 teams put into the Group of Death?
probably based on PO standings. everything else is pure random i guess.
but it's a good thing imo

No, 2 seasons ago 5 out of 6 PO winners were on my group.
haha, that's exactly what I thought as well lol, I'm in that group as well

Good luck!! Group of Death is probably an understatement.
damn right, PO winner here as well
but I already know for seasons that CL, nor CWC is my place ...

I believe the teams are distributed into pots according to country ranking. Then the draw is made with some corrections to avoid 2 teams from the same country in the same group.
Are players much more expensive than usual when new seasons start or am I imagining things?
I started playing in the middle of last season and bought a few 300-350 OR players for 10k and now everything seems to be going for millions.
I can't afford to spend 5 million on 1 player right now, so should I wait for prices to go down or they never will?
