I still don't get how that would make you a top 4 team
The strong teams were in lower divs before.

Question on the pucks shown on line strength. I have used the same 1st line for a while now and they have been showing 7 pucks on defence for several weeks. However today, it has gone down to 6 pucks!?!? Is this possible?
My energy levels have just gone down to 95 over the last couple of days, yet the last couple of games have still shown 7 pucks as strength. Are energy and line strength really connected? If so, how come none of the other strengths on any line have been affected? It doesn't seem right to have lost less than 1/20th of seasonal energy, yet lose 1/7th of a line strength. Or am I looking at it wrong?
I can concur that energy levels and line strength are connected.
I played High for my cup semifinal yesterday and lost a puck in attacking of my first line today.

I am only guessing here. but its possible you were just barely over the line to show 7, and lost just enough energy to take you back over the line to show 6. In this case you wouldn't have really lost 1/7th of your line strength.
I have something to add here. You've said you were at 7 puck for several weeks. With proper training (right ratios) you should be well over the line between 6 and 7 by now. Falling back to 6 tells me, you're not training the right skills.
I think it has to do with your choice of tactics. You have played with diffrent tactics the 3 last games, and they have shown a diffrent amount of pucks.
Amount of pucks don't have any connection with used tactic.
What the chad just said. A lot of the strong players came up with the migration, not the normal promotion.

It says in the guide that you can build players to play certain tactics better. What's your explanation to why the amount of pucks changes so often?

Mainly due to energy lost and changing to wrong ratio (better to say: ratio, that gives less pucks).
