What's his pass at?
Those numbers seem really nice for 4 stars

I thought about doing so, but I don't want to part with this guy without getting a significant return. How much do you think I could get?
If saltyanchovy is right (and he probably is) and he's "big league ready" at 21-22, that'll be an even tougher decision!
Any chance that he makes the national team at some point if he's traded to a team with better facilities than mine? Wouldn't want to waste some top national talent
Oh and he's got a 50 pass quality. He's a winger, that's for sure.

If you want to sell him, I expect you'll get about 10-12Mil. The qualities will attract lots of interest, but the OR will turn many off (especially with it being late in the season). I wouldn't be surprised to see him go for more (if a good bidding war starts). Maybe Jan 14 for a sell date, playoff prize money should show up that day.
The other thing you can do is make him a part of your team for the long term. If you go this route, I suggest playing him right away. Bite the bullet and start gaining experience for him. Myself (and other Div I.1 guys) are inserting their top young prospects into the lineup. Even though it makes our team worse right now, it's an investment for the team's future.
As far as a future on the National Team, his chances are slim to zero. I would think only about a dozen players drawn this season will eventually make the National Team. His qualities are National Team worthy, but his OR starting point and his training facilities are not.

I think I'll keep him, as 10-12m won't really have an impact on my team's budget.
If I was sure to get at least 20m, I would consider selling, but I guess that's unrealistic!
I prefer taking a chance at him becoming a solid two-way winger for my team (thanks for the advice on playing time btw).

Ooook, then here is what I'm going to do
I'll put Mealand on the market but at a starting price of 15m. This way, if someone with better facilities than mine want to take a chance on the guy, he will be able to do so, but I'll be sure that the move will also benefit my team.

Gee.. Anyone know how long (in real life) it would take a good 15yo prospect to turn into a national player material?
Yeah, something like that
I should've asked "how many seasons would a PPM 15yo prospect take to turn into NT material"

Just got a mediocre prospect that I should probably make the most of:
Amos Newsome Scouted:
Def:26(81) Off:59(84) Sho:48(83) Pas:40(73) Tec:40(67) Agr:40(79)
Can I have some suggestions? I'm torn between making this guy an Offensive D-man or a Winger.

He can fill any gap in your team.
What do you need?
Winger has the best qualities for what is needed, but any position looks good for him.
