This is also a problem, ppl like you comparing this.. OFC it should be harder to get to the top if you join late. OFC should it be random who the qualmatches goes against..

Thats the suggestion forum. Complaining about the current system and insulting other people in this thread will get you nowhere.

While the current system isn't perfect it makes perfect sense at this time. Will it always? Maybe not. If you have a better way please suggest it instead of just complaining and insulting people.

Brother, soderb doesn't want to listen to anyone but his viewpoint, and while not a direct insult he is saying that Trueblue's opinion is part of the problem. So rather than continue to argue with us, it makes more sense to make a suggestion to the devs instead of here in the Q&A.

just a simple comment. while this has a been a mostly friendly discussion, there have been comments along the way that have been pretty ugly (this one tb is referencing for example)...and some that could have been construed to be insulting and offensive.

but, brotherke is right. this is an open discussion. let's just try to write things thinking about how other readers might interpret them, instead of the way we meant them to be understood.

He can discuss all he wants. But convincing me or trueblue or anyone else in this thread that he's right will get him nowhere.

Suggesting a better way in the threads set up for that, will. And thats why I earlier suggested it then linked it.

For the record I think random is not the way to go, but I'm not the one making the decisions. If I was going to change it. I would base it on league strength. Currently it pretty much is because at least in the US and Sweden II.1 is higher than II.2 and so on down the line.

The only issue with that is that in level 3, II.12 which is brand new has a higher league rating because they got 2 years worth of games fast simmed. So no system is perfect.
