Schedule games every day. Playing them on VL won't hurt your energy and will help not only with revenue but chem and exp buildup for your players.

OK.. while I'm at it then.. do you play your normal starting lineup in those games? I normally swap in my non-starters for whichever starters need rest the most. I figure it gains them experience. But your point about building chemistry and experience has me rethinking that...

Up to you. There are pros and cons to each strategy.

I used to use the starters on friendlies until they got 90-95 on chemistry. now, on friendlies, I use just the second team to up the chemistry.

Depends on how you train your team, and your long term goals. I like playing friendly games, even if I'm an extreme underdog. I generally use my younger players that don't start to get some chemistry and experience so that they can plug in for an injury or what have you. I also think that getting around 200-300K for a friendly isn't bad, as I use it basically to pay my wages/salaries. Obviously your guys that play won't train as well for the day, but my team that doesn't play (mainly my starters) still get to train like it was a day off. Just my opinion, I like money

I agree with mattypickz, if for no other reason, its worth the extra money. Any experience or chemistry gained is bonus. One note though, if you play your starting lineup i would use very low importance so you do not waste energy, but if you use a secondary lineup then it is less of an issue.

Agreed. I purposely run two completely different teams. (4 lines for my starters, 3 lines for my backups/young up and comers) so that I can run at a normal energy, but if you plan on running one squad or use players for multiple games (friendlies and league matches) then you definitely want to lower the importance for friendlies.

Why is fighting not penalized in games?

I agree I'd like to see 5 minute major penalties

A combination of low experience, youth, and over aggressiveness?

I don't see how that has any impact on PPM not coding major penalties into the game.

So I'm trying to budget ahead for next season.

This season, my HR/Economic dept was at about level 3 to start the season, in US league III.14, and my sponsorship deals are about 3.8M and $250k per week (both were 5 star).

My HR/Economic is at level 8 to start next season. If I stay in III.14, any idea what my deals might look like? And if I promote to II.4 (which I give about 50/50 odds), how much bigger will my sponsorship deals be?

Too many variables to tell. Basically double it would be my guess.
